Papermark is an open-source alternative to Docsend.

I remember some people making apps like this a few years ago so it's cool to see a bootstrapper pull this off and take a chunk out of a big player's market.

Claude AI change

Claude has started marking content as AI-generated. It looks like this will be impossible to remove. It's to remain compliant with EU law but it will be applied worldwide.

IndieBites podcast ends

The IndieBites pod is ending. A sad day!

James made hundreds of episodes of the IndieBites podcast, which was like a quicker version of your typical founder interview pod. 15 min episodes, super-tight edits and no fluff. Interestingly, it seems to have been the spring-board for James getting hired to edit the Uncensored CMO podcast.

Sometimes it's just time to end things.

Namecheap goes down

Namecheap had a big outage worldwide yesterday. It meant I couldn't access my email (right after someone had paid me for an SEO audit - not ideal.) It also affected people trying to buy domains.

It's back up now.

Bluesky numbers down

Bluesky's active users are down about 25% on last year. I still have an account there as there a few people there who don't post on X any more but most people cross-post to LinkedIn any way.
