Hi there,

Thanks for signing up to my founder newsletter.

I have been doing a couple of SEO audits this week which are really fun. Let me know if you need help with your SEO. I've got all my knowledge from making my own sites rank and I'm getting clients mentioned in AI overviews.

Cheers to Thomas for sponsoring this edition!

Yeah, you do.

But it’s a pain in the butt doing all these submissions.

No spam farms, only the good stuff.

Leaving your butt pain-free.

$50k MRR for Instatus

Congrats to Ali for reaching $50k MRR with his uptime monitor Instatus.

I remember a lot of people making these apps back in 2018 so it's cool to see someone stick to one app and make it happen. Ali has clearly avoided shiny object syndrome. He's got really impressive clients like KFC and Harvard which is very cool for an indie hacker.

Guy auctions ad spots on his MacBook

The bidding site hype lives on! This French founder pre-sold ad spots on a MacBook he doesn't even own yet. The companies get their logo on his MacBook which funds his purchase. Genius.

He made $2k in the first 24hrs. Now he's actually in profit with over $7k in bids.

And I love that he didn't just clone the outbid.lol site. You can even make your own one: https://brandmymac.com/#

Uneed hits $300k total revenue

Congrats to Thomas for reaching $300k from Uneed since he started. There were lots of Product Hunt alternatives back when he started so it's cool to see he has persisted with it. And it's nice to zoom out sometimes and see how far you've come as a founder!

Lovable grabs the .com

Vibe coding platform Lovable has until now had .dev as its domain extension. The .com was owned by an Italian underwear company. Well, that clothing company probably made a few million this week as they have sold the domain to the Swedish vibe coding company.

Funnily enough, the software company are leaning into the underwear jokes and are supposedly planning some pyjama merchandise.

Lovable.com is dead. Long live Lovable.com

Ramen Club ads on buses

Ramen Club are doing a collab with Revenue Cat's Shipaton project and they have started running adverts on London's iconic red double-decker buses.

Extremely cool seeing startup logos from people you know IRL pop up in the real world!
