How Andrei built There's An AI For That

Andrei is the creator of There's An AI For That (TAAFT), one of the first and biggest directories for AI tools. He was quick to notice the possibilities of AI and decided to make his own dedicated website just for finding the best AI tools. Smart. This is his interview in English! He talked about lots of topics including first-move advantage, his advice for entrepreneurs and his favorite AI tools.

Can you tell us about what There's An AI For That is and your achievements so far?

There’s An AI For That (also known as TAAFT) is the largest and most popular platform for AI tools. It receives 3-4 million visits per month. It's used by most AI founders to promote their tools, as well as by anyone who wants to find the best tools for a specific use case. TAAFT is also the largest AI newsletter with over 1M active subscribers. We also have (to my knowledge) the only forum dedicated to AI tools and a growing social media presence.

How does There's An AI For That make money?

TAAFT makes money when founders submit their AI tools (the submission fee is around $300), as well as through ads on the website. We also monetize the newsletter through sponsorships. The business model is that of a media company.
