Hi there,
Thanks for signing up for my founder newsletter. I did a couple of co-working sessions this week, both online and in-person. I find a little social pressure very effective for getting more done.
Thanks to Duarte for sponsoring today's edition.

Heroku update
I can't make head nor tail of this announcement but it seems like a good time to move your apps off Heroku if you haven't already:

Great AI agents article
An indie hacker I've been following for a while has dropped a great article about how he's using AI agents. Bhanu is using OpenClaw on a server to run lots of marketing tasks for him.
It's pretty mad but also interesting to see how people are using this technology. The article is really thorough:

Anthropic's masterclass in marketing
Anthropic, the company behind Claude, ran some adverts this week poking fun at ads in ChatGPT. A great marketing tactic is to show how you are different from your competition to re-inforce your own value.
Anthropic has chosen not to run ads inside their LLMs and to monetize with subscriptions. So you can expect a lot more marketing from them pointing this out and mocking the potential for bad ads appearing in ChatGPT.
SEO listicles get punished
New findings suggest that it may be the end of those list articles that always conveniently show competitors as being worse. You know, top 10 CRMs and the website which has published this article puts their own CRM at the top of the list and the rubbishes the other ones.

How Cory Zue is coding in 2026
An interesting read from experienced indie hacker and developer Cory Zue. He sells the SaaS Pegasus Django boilerplate (affiliate) so it's cool to see how he's using AI for coding.
Also, if this guy is delegating a lot to Claude, maybe that's a hint you should too:
