Hi there,
Thanks for signing up for my founder newsletter. I just sent the signup form to a couple of people I met last week in France at Uneed. I guess I should DM people my newsletter more often.
Cheers to Dino for sponsoring this week:
No time to keep up with business podcasts?
Gistful turns episodes from shows like Acquired and My First Million into short, searchable briefs.
It gives you search, tags, all the best quotes and links back to the full episode, without spending an hour listening first.
Turn one hour of listening into 3 minutes of reading, then jump into the original audio when something catches your attention.

Ship or Die makes $40k in 2 weeks
Take two founders with huge social media followings, put them together and you have a recipe for a big product launch. Jack and Marc last week launched a new community, Ship or Die, where you have to launch your product in 30 days or you get kicked out of the group. No refunds. Genius.
It's actually a fun twist on paid communities, which have been around for ages. It just adds a lot more urgency. I'm sure you could do apply this to a lot of communities.

Cloudflare acquires Vite
Some more consolidation in the software tool space. The makers of the build tool Vite have been acquired by Cloudflare. Getting acquired by a hosting company is a pretty great way to get rich now.

4 years of ScreenshotOne
Congrats to Dymtro for reaching 4 years with his ScreenshotOne business. In that time he's reach $33k MRR. I met him in Nantes last week and he explained that while companies could take lots of screenshots themselves, it's cheaper and quicker for them to pay him to automate it.

$1.5k for childhood app
Another cool vibe story! This woman has made $1.5k so far with her app that lets her writes notes about memories of raising her kids. It's cool to see people without CS degrees make software for themselves (and make money at the same time).
She used Replit

Buffer gets an API
The indie social media tool Buffer now has an API. And because it's 2026, there's an MCP. It could be a great way to query your social media posts. Available on free plans, which is a nice touch.

Funny post of the week
