Shopify acquires Tailwind Labs

Some huge news here as the CSS framework maker Tailwind is getting acquired by Shopify. It seems like since everyone is now coding with AI, no-one is buying CSS kits any more. The company is keeping Tailwind CSS open-source but Tailwind Plus (formerly Tailwind UI) will no longer take signups.

$3m for Marc Lou

Congrats to Marc for making $3m in 3 years from his websites. It's pretty wild how he's made so much without a single acquisition.

It definitely shows the power of having a social media audience.

He has also joined the bidding website frenzy - companies have started bidding to have their logos tattooed on his body for when he does a Hyrox race. Crazy times.

$4k MRR for directory app

Well done to Venelin for reaching $4k MRR with his directory app. It's a bit like a vibe coding platform but specifically for directories. Looking forward to meeting this guy at the Uneed Residency in October!
