Hi there,
Thanks for signing up for my founder newsletter. I started building with Claude's API today. Lots of fun!
Cheers to Kal for sponsoring this week:
Most of what you call "project management" is actually information logistics:
Remembering what blocks what, who needs to know, and why you made that call three months ago.
Bother makes project context machine-readable. A semantic graph maps your goals, decisions, risks, and dependencies. An AI agent navigates it with you – surfacing what matters, not generating noise.
No signup required to try it. Just describe your project at bother.now and watch it take shape.
News
Twitter/X going local?
Some controversial news today as the Head of Product at X teased that accounts would no longer be able to earn revenue from views/engagement from outside their country. I guess it's a way to stop people outside of America doing engagement farming about US politics and making money.
But, he spookily suggested a sort of geo-locking as he said "we invite creators to start building an audience locally". That's very bad news for anyone who wants to reach US or European buyers, for instance, and doesn't live there.
Think about every digital nomad living in Bali only having their posts seen by people in Bali. I don't want to only reach people in my city or country.
It's unclear if this was just in reference to revenue sharing or if it would also affect your post visibility. For instance, TikTok is very localised. This isn't very good for me as there aren't many indie founders in Edinburgh.
After a big user backlash, Elon Musk has put this change on hold.
